Brotherly love at a Red Robin in Clifton, NJ!
I had the opportunity to randomly participate in a Free Hugs Campaign in NYC about a month ago. I asked an individual there how he got started because I was highly interested, as I had seen the amazing and inspirational videos online. Here is the link for those of you who have not seen it: Free Hugs Campaign. He handed me an extra sign, smiled, and walked away.
I’ll admit, at first it was awkward. But I knew this was my opportunity to really live it up. I embraced the situation and asked random strangers in Times Square, “Who wants a free hug?!” The experience was thrilling and I felt alive. When I was done, I passed the sign to the two girls above who also asked me, “How did you get started doing this?”
This was the experience in which I realized the power of a hug. I also realized that love and great experiences need to be spread. Due to this amazing moment…
